Delighted to be in a city with open stores… despite random explosions throughout the city. We have two days here to make contact with our connections in the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade and a non-profit running casualty-evacuation (“CasEvac”) services to the Battalions operating in Bakhmut.

With a refrigerator and a stove, its definitely time to load the belly with home-cooked food. I opted for energy drinks over coffee for two good reasons… they are cheaper and they are much easier to pack and prepare on the go. Artillery hit an identical apartment block right beside us last night… same floor, same suite. This was a little close to home; part of me thinks that it’s likely a coincidence but my spidey-senses tell me its best to move out before dusk.
